American Steel and Aluminum has a wide range and variety of metals. With so many we wouldn’t want to list them all. From structural grades to commercial steels, exotic alloys to carbon American Steel has the metals that you need to finish the job right. Aluminum
  • At about one-third of the weight of steel yet with similar comparable strength, aluminum has become a cost-effective option for many industries including the automotive, heat transfer industries.
Steel
  • As attested to in our company name - steel is our strength with over two centuries of knowledge and expertise. Steel is an alloy of iron and other elements - mainly carbon. ASA has many types of Carbon Steel within our inventory from Hot Rolled to Cold Rolled, High Carbon to High Strength Low Alloy. At ASA, you can find Carbon steels from 1006 to 1075 and everything in between.
Stainless Steel
  • Stainless Steel is known for its excellent durability and rust resistance. ASA carries some of the most common grades like 304, 304L, 316, 316L and 430.
Coated
  • Galvanized is our most common coated products. These are commonly referred to using designations such as G40, G60, G90, going up to G240. As the number of the coating increases so does its corrosion resistance due to the increased level of zinc being applied.
